Our planet is divided into more than 190 countries. To try to have more unity and agreement among the countries, was created UN (United Nations). Its main objective is to maintain world peace.

The UN is the largest international organization existing . Is defined as an association of global governance that facilitates cooperation on issues such as international law , peace and security international economic development and social , humanitarian affairs and human rights

The UN was founded on October 24 in San Francisco de1945 (California) for 51 countries after the Second World War with the signing of the Charter of the United Nations.

From its headquarters in New York, Member States of the United Nations and other related agencies provide advice and decide on administrative significant issues and regular meetings held during the year. The UN has six languages: Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, English, French, English and Russian.

I think it is necessary other organization like the UN to maintain world peace and no wars between countries and continents, because countries such as Pakistan and Afghanistan at war and these 2 countries are on the same continent . Hence the need for another organization UN and no wars and keep world peace.
